Help Vulnerable South Australians
Access the Care They Deserve

At Malex Care, we are committed to supporting vulnerable South Australians, including people aged 65 and over (or First Nations people aged 50 and over), unpaid carers, people with disabilities, those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, refugees, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can access the care and services they need to lead fulfilling and independent lives.
We are seeking your support to deliver a vital Aged Care Advocacy Project that will provide essential guidance and advocacy to those struggling to navigate the often complex and confusing aged care system. Many vulnerable South Australians face significant challenges in accessing key services, such as My Aged Care, ACAT assessments, and other important programs like the Continence Aids Payment Scheme and the Transport Subsidy Scheme.
Through this project, we will provide face-to-face or telephone consultations (up to 2 hours) to individuals and their families. These consultations will offer expert advocacy and support to help them navigate the complexities of aged care services. Recognizing that many families and caregivers may not be available during traditional business hours, we are committed to offering flexible consultation times, including outside of standard business hours, to ensure our services are accessible to everyone in need.
The funding raised will be used to employ experienced, qualified staff to deliver this crucial project, ensuring high-quality care and expert advocacy for every individual we support.
By contributing to this project, you are directly helping vulnerable South Australians and their families access the vital support they need. Your donation will empower individuals to navigate the aged care system, access essential services, and lead a more fulfilling, independent life.
